1. Explore the Property:

This may seem like an obvious one, but you would be surprised how many people never leave the vicinity of their hotel. With more than 400 acres and 5 different hotels, Atlantis Resort and Casino is an enormous property that can be quite overwhelming, to say the least. That’s why the first thing that we recommend doing is grabbing your phone and downloading the Atlantis app – it's like your treasure map to all the fun stuff here on site. From picturesque pools and chill relaxation spots to heart-pounding water slides and white-sand beaches, and so much more, Atlantis has a little something for everyone… Even those who like to exercise on vacation! With a full gym, basketball courts, and more than 5 miles of walking and running paths that include a rope bridge suspended over a lagoon with hammerhead sharks you’ll have no problem getting a sweat session in at Atlantis! And when the sun goes down, the good times don’t end because there is plenty of nightlife to enjoy, including a theatre offering free movies every night! With so much to explore and countless adventures waiting, your time at Atlantis promises to be an epic adventure in paradise!

2. Get a Look into the Underwater World at the Aquariums!

In our opinion, the Atlantis aquariums are what sets this resort apart from the rest. Home to over 250 marine species and boasting more than 50,000 aquatic animals, these immersive habitats offer a firsthand glimpse into the vibrant underwater world. Whether exploring the Predator Lagoon and Tunnel – which we highly recommend – or the archeological ruins of the “lost city of Atlantis” at The Dig, the sheer abundance and variety of aquatic life thriving within these carefully curated environments make the Atlantis Aquariums worth visiting.

Pro Tip: Check the daily scheduled marine life feedings to see these animals in action!

3. Get Wet at Aquaventure Waterpark & Pools:

Without a doubt, the most popular attraction at Atlantis is the world-famous Aquaventure Waterpark. At 141 acres Aquaventure is the largest waterpark in the Caribbean and welcomes over 1.5 million guests each year. With over 20 slides and attractions, including the iconic Leap of Faith slide, which drops riders an almost vertical 60 feet followed by a high-speed ride through a clear tunnel submerged in a shark-filled lagoon, you are sure to get your adrenaline fix. Additionally, the waterpark boasts a mile-long lazy river allowing you to drift through lush landscapes and underwater tunnels. And if adrenaline-pumping water rides and whitewater lazy rivers aren’t your thing, then no worries, because Atlantis offers the opportunity to relax around any one of their 14 pools ranging from adult-only to kid-friendly options. Needless to say, Aquaventure Waterpark promises an unforgettable experience for all ages.

Side Note: Access to Aquaventure Waterpark is included with your stay at Atlantis. If you are not staying at Atlantis and would like to experience Aquaventure, Atlantis Day Passes are available and must be purchased in advance. CLICK HERE for more info and to purchase your Atlantis Day Pass.

4. Indulge at the Restaurants.

With 40 restaurants, cafes, bars, and lounges scattered throughout the resort, Atlantis offers plenty of choices to satisfy your cravings and indulge in diverse culinary delights. From casual eateries serving quick bites to upscale restaurants offering gourmet experiences, you can explore flavors from around the world, including Mediterranean, Italian, Asian, Caribbean, American, and more. In addition to its diverse dining options, Atlantis also offers unique culinary experiences. I mean, where else can you enjoy a Burger and Fries while watching stingrays and giant groupers swim by?

Side Note: Beware that dining prices at Atlantis are quite inflated. You can expect to pay $20-25 USD per person per meal at the extremely casual restaurants like The Village Burger Shack or Marina Pizzeria and upwards of $100-150 USD per person per meal at the nicer restaurants like Nobu or Fish... And that’s not even counting alcoholic beverages.

5. Relax at the Beaches & Lagoons.

No trip to the Bahamas would be complete without a little beach time, and with 5 miles of white sand and Caribbean views spread across at least 4 different beaches, Atlantis offers plenty of opportunity to make your Caribbean beach dreams come true. From the tranquil environments of the Cove and Paradise beaches to the calm waters and watersports offerings of Paradise Lagoon to the lively atmosphere of Atlantis Beach, you really can’t go wrong! We personally enjoyed the fun, energetic atmosphere of Atlantis Beach as it is a public beach and offers a slightly more local experience. It’s also where you’ll find local vendors selling handmade art, crafts, and souvenirs. That said, if you prefer a private beach or are traveling with children, we recommend Cove Beach or Paradise Lagoon Beaches.

Side Note: Paradise Beach (not to be confused with Paradise Lagoon Beaches) is exclusively for guests of The Cove and The Reef.

6. Try Your Luck at the Casino!

Located in the heart of the resort, the Atlantis casino spans a sprawling 60,000 square feet and boasts over 85 gaming tables and more than 750 slot machines offering an electrifying array of entertainment for both seasoned gamblers and casual players alike. You can try your luck at a variety of popular table games, including blackjack, roulette, craps, and baccarat, while slot enthusiasts can indulge in a diverse selection of themed machines offering immersive gameplay and enticing jackpots. The casino also features a state-of-the-art sportsbook where sports enthusiasts can wager on a wide range of sporting events from around the world, adding an extra dimension of excitement to the gaming experience. And while we aren’t the biggest gamblers, it can be a fun form of entertainment for a night, and who knows, you could leave with a little fatter wallet than you came with!

Pro Tip: Turn your status into free slot play! If you have elite status with either Caesars Rewards, you are eligible for not only a “free” stay at Atlantis but also free slot play. The amount of free play depends on your status level. Also, Caesars and Wyndham currently have an agreement where you can status match from Wyndham to Caesars. Due to this, we were able to match our Wyndham Diamond status to Caesars Diamond status and in turn received 5 “free” nights at The Coral Tower and $150 in free slot play. From swimming alongside dolphins in Dolphin Cay, where you can interact and learn about these intelligent creatures, to embarking on a thrilling aqua adventure with Sea Lion Point’s playful sea lions, there are animal encounter opportunities for all ages and interests. Additionally, guests can explore the vibrant underwater world through snorkeling and scuba diving in the Ruins Lagoon and Mayan Temple Shark Lagoon, feeding stingrays at the Water’s Edge Lagoon, and so much more! 8. Unwind at Marina Village.

Marina Village is a vibrant waterfront hub where visitors can stroll along the picturesque marina, lined with luxury yachts, while exploring a curated selection of upscale boutiques featuring designer fashion, jewelry, and unique souvenirs. In addition to the shopping, the village is a culinary haven, boasting a variety of restaurants and cafes serving delectable cuisines ranging from Bahamian delights to international fare, ensuring a delightful culinary experience for every palate. In the evenings, the atmosphere comes alive with live music, street performers, and bustling energy, creating a captivating ambiance to unwind and immerse in the island's vibrant culture. This was our go-to spot for evening dining, entertainment, and relaxation.
