The culture, the food, the history... there's really no place else like it! And while 24 hours is barely even enough time to scratch the surface of "The Big Easy", it doesn't take long to figure out why it's one of America's favorite cities! In this itinerary, we lay out our most recent trip with everything we did ate and saw, plus a whole lot more! 12:00 pm: Lunch

  • Willie Mae’s Scotch House (Fried Chicken)

  • Central Grocery and Deli (Muffulettas)

  • Johnny’s PoBoys

1:30 pm: Explore the Garden District/Magazine Street

  • St. Charles Streetcar

  • Lafayette Cemetery No. 1

  • Garden District Book Shop

  • Commander’s Palace

3:00 pm: Check-in at hotel/Freshen up

4:45 pm: Sunset in Jackson Square

5:30 pm: Happy Hour Drinks

  • Cafe Maspero ($1 daiquiris)

  • Brennan’s (2-7… $7 sparkling wine cocktail & small plates)

  • SoBou (3-6… cocktails, beer, & small plates for $3-6)

  • Superior Seafood (4-6:30… $3 wine & beer, & discounted frozen drinks)

  • Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop (the country’s oldest structure to be used as a bar)
